The Area

The Baciano hunting farm, with a total area of about 320 hectares, has a very favorable geographical position, being easily accessible in a short time by highway from Arezzo, Florence, Siena and Perugia. Located in the province of Arezzo, where the hunting culture has always been present, the farm has specialized throughout its history in welcoming hunters with a passion for hunting dogs. Precisely for this type of hunting, our territory contains all those environmental characteristics that make it a place of reference, and the attention to its preservation is one of the cornerstones of our management.

The territory of the farm, with a mountainous formation typical of the lower Casentino area, starts from the shores of the Arno river and gently ascends through the first wooded branches, changing the aspect and the difficulty for hunting. Precisely to favor less athletic hunters, the management has organized the area into zones with different difficulties:

flat areas - where the hunter can walk without too much fatigue in fields with many trees and have a clear view of the work of his assistant;

low hilly areas - where the slopes are of medium difficulty covered with grasslands alternating with rows of dense plants and bushes where the hunter finds the best conditions to compete.

High hilly areas - for those who like hunting in more difficult conditions, with a terrain formed by wide esplanades where forest cuts alternate with rows of olive trees and bushes.
